Volleyball Recap: Hialeah-Miami Lakes Wins Going Away Against Carol City

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Reagan, Hialeah-Miami Lakes was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Carol City Chiefs 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Trojans also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2023.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Hialeah-Miami Lakes was: they took every set by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-5, 25-13.

Hialeah-Miami Lakes' victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-5. As for Carol City, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hialeah-Miami Lakes will welcome Goleman at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Gators will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Trojans surely won't give up without a fight. As for Carol City, they will square off against JC Bermudez Doral at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
