Basketball Recap: Pierz Has No Trouble Against Crosby-Ironton

Pierz had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 22-point drubbing they dealt Crosby-Ironton on Tuesday. The Pierz Pioneers were the clear victor by a 70-48 margin over the Crosby-Ironton Rangers. The matchup marked the Pioneers' most dominant victory of the season.

Pierz has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.2 points per game. As for Crosby-Ironton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-12.
