The Southern Christian Patriots's and the Conecuh Springs Christian Eagles's matchup on Friday was close at halftime, but the Southern Christian Patriots turned on the heat in the second half with 34 points. Southern Christian was the clear victor by a 51-30 margin over Conecuh Springs Christian.

Southern Christian was led to victory by Camdyn Oswald and Caylin Oswald. Oswald dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 steals, while Oswald scored 22 points along with nine rebounds and seven steals. Oswald is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Cason Oswald, who scored seven points along with eight rebounds and two steals.

Southern Christian's win bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Conecuh Springs Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.

Southern Christian won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Evangel Christian at 12:30 p.m. on January 13th. Conecuh Springs Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Victory Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd.
