Volleyball Recap: Cornerstone's Luck Changes for the Better on Thursday

Cornerstone not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since August 28th (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Woodlawn Colonels. The win was some much needed relief for the Eagles as it spelled an end to their five-match losing streak.

Cornerstone's victory bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Woodlawn, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cornerstone will face off against Westminster School at Oak Mountain at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Woodlawn, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Jackson-Olin at 6:30 p.m. on the 13th.
