Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South San Francisco). They put the hurt on the Half Moon Bay Cougars with a sharp 41-18 victory on Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but the Warriors sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

South San Francisco's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Half Moon Bay, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. South San Francisco is set to challenge their familiar foe Hillsdale at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Warriors 13.1, the Fighting Knights 7.9) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Half Moon Bay will square off against rival Sequoia at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
