The West Noble Chargers will square off against the Wawasee Warriors at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. West Noble will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
Having struggled with four losses in a row, West Noble turned things around against Central Noble on Friday. They blew past the Cougars 11-3. The Chargers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by six runs or more this season.

Brooks Ruisard made a splash no matter where he played. He tossed six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. Ruisard was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double. Those three hits gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Jordan Eash was incredible, going 2-for-5 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. He has become a key player for West Noble: the team is 5-2 when he posts at least two runs, but 3-9 otherwise. Mason Taylor was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs and one double.
West Noble kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Wawasee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 19th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 10-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of Plymouth.
Luke Lehman made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Another player making a difference was Addison Coy, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.
Wawasee's loss dropped their record down to 0-18. As for West Noble, their win bumped their record up to 8-11.
West Noble came out on top in a nail-biter against Wawasee in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, sneaking past 6-4. Do the Chargers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
