Monroe Central is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. Everything went their way against Hiland as Monroe Central made off with a 54-33 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Seminoles sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Meanwhile, North Adams came tearing into Sunday's contest with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.9 points), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Indians with a sharp 65-45 win. Given the Green Devils' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 156th, while the Indians are ranked 475th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

North Adams' victory bumped their record up to 20-5. As for Monroe Central, their win bumped their record up to 22-3.
