Basketball Recap: Florence/Henry Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Florence/Henry can now relate to. They fell just short of the Sioux Valley Cossacks by a score of 62-60 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Falcons have suffered since January 10th.

Florence/Henry's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Sioux Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season.

Florence/Henry does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sioux Valley, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Hamlin at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hamlin will roll in looking for their 14th straight victory, something Sioux Valley surely won't give up without a fight.
