Football Recap: Northwest Cabarrus Trojans vs. Central Cabarrus Vikings
It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Northwest Cabarrus ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They managed a 27-21 victory over the Central Cabarrus Vikings. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Trojans' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 72nd, while the Vikings are ranked 270th).
Northwest Cabarrus found their leader in sophomore Titus Troy, who rushed for 200 yards and one touchdown while picking up 8.7 yards per carry.
