Baseball Recap: Berwick's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

If Berwick was riding high fresh off their 13-2 takedown of Morgan City on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Berwick Panthers fell 6-1 to the Covington Lions on Saturday. The Panthers were not able to make up for their loss to the Lions from their previous meeting back in March of 2017.

The defeat snapped Berwick's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-5 record. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games.
