Grapevine had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Johnson Jaguars. While the Mustangs didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-24), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Grapevine's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Johnson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grapevine will take on Mansfield at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Johnson, they will welcome Trinity at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
