Basketball Recap: Fletcher Snags 12th Victory in Last 13 Games

Fletcher had won three straight road games and Ryder Kay did his part to make it four on Thursday. The Fletcher Senators were the clear victor by a 40-15 margin over the Paxon School For Advanced Studies Golden Eagles thanks in part to Kay, who posted 11 points and six steals. Those six steals gave him a new career-high.

Fletcher has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. As for Paxon School For Advanced Studies, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-5.

Fletcher has already played their next matchup, a 61-37 win against Atlantic Coast on the 17th. As for Paxon School For Advanced Studies, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 35-33 loss against Westside on the 18th.
