St. Mary's Academy won the last time they faced Heritage Preparatory and Emily Jimenez did her part to make sure it happened again. The Bobcats came out on top in a nail-biter against the Rams on Tuesday, sneaking past 3-2 for which the team can thank Jimenez, who had 36 digs and seven assists. She has been hot, having posted 17 or more digs the last seven times she's played.

St. Mary's Academy wouldn't go down easily and took Heritage Preparatory into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-13, 25-20, 22-25, 15-12.

St. Mary's Academy's record is now 9-11. As for Heritage Preparatory, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.
