Carter Desjardins gave up the fewest hits he has since back in May of 2024 on Monday. He turned in nothing short of a gem, striking out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). Fort Kent is 2-1 when Desjardins allows one or fewer earned runs, but 1-5 otherwise.

Desjardins' effort led Fort Kent over Houlton and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
