Recap: Bell Blue Raiders vs. Cleburne Yellowjackets
The Bell Blue Raiders's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They fell just short of Cleburne by a score of 54-51.
Despite the defeat, Bell saw an underclassman step up: Keyaun Williams scored 21 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Joshua Dyer, who scored 7 points.
Bell has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Cleburne, their victory bumped their record up to 1-5.
Bell is on the road again on Friday and play against Coppell at 6:00 p.m. on December 1st. Coppell presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Bell in Texas (Coppell is ranked 153rd, while Bell is ranked 903rd). As for Cleburne, they will face off against Benbrook at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
