Volleyball Recap: West Allis Central Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

West Allis Central waltzed into their matchup on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Martin Luther Spartans.

West Allis Central had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-14, 25-18, 25-20.

Liam Devine paced West Allis Central's offense, picking up 25 kills. Devine got some help from Alex McMillin and his 38 assists. Devine was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

West Allis Central's victory bumped their record up to 13-15. As for Martin Luther, they dropped their record down to 1-16 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, West Allis Central will square off against Dominican at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Martin Luther does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
