Softball Recap: Carlyle Comes Up Short

Carlyle managed to slip by Wesclin the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Indians lost 13-3 to the Warriors on Thursday. Indians fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Warriors since Thursday.

Carlyle has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 14 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season. As for Wesclin, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-18.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Carlyle beat the Warriors by a score of 18-3 on Friday.
