The Normal Community Ironmen were able to grind out a solid victory over the Richwoods Knights on Tuesday, taking the game 6-4. Given Normal Community's advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 42nd, while Richwoods are ranked 129th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Normal Community is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 30 goals over those seven matchups. As for Richwoods, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6-2.

Coincidentally, Normal Community and Richwoods will both be playing Urbana the next time they take the pitch. The Knights will head out to face the Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Ironmen will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
