South Tama County is headed into Thursday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Monday. They came up short against Vinton-Shellsburg, falling 10-0. That's two games in a row now that South Tama County have lost by exactly ten goals.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Benton's offense. They lost 9-0 to Solon on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for Benton in their meetings with Solon: they've now lost three in a row.
