River View came tearing into Friday's contest with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Goldendale Timberwolves with a sharp 8-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won six games by six runs or more so far this season.

River View's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-4. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.7 runs over those games. As for Goldendale, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-5 record this season.
