Basketball Recap: Marysville Comes Up Short

Marysville lost against Chippewa Valley back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Marysville Vikings took a hard 50-35 fall against the Chippewa Valley Big Reds. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 420th, while the Big Reds are ranked 55th).

Marysville has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Chippewa Valley, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-1.

Marysville has already played their next match (against Fraser), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Chippewa Valley has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Port Huron Northern.
