On Saturday, Jonathan Alder strolled past Tecumseh with points to spare, taking the game 56-42. Given the Pioneers' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 101st, while the Arrows are ranked 405th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Graham Local can finally bid farewell to their eight-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Benjamin Logan, sneaking past 38-35. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Falcons have posted since December 3, 2024.

Graham Local's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 3-10. As for Jonathan Alder, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Jonathan Alder was able to grind out a solid victory over Graham Local in their previous meeting back in January of 2022, winning 40-28. The rematch might be a little tougher for Jonathan Alder since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
