Basketball Recap: South Salem Takes a Loss

On Saturday, the South Salem Saxons came up short against the Ida B. Wells Guardians and fell 85-78. The Saxons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

South Salem's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Ida B. Wells, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-3.

South Salem will host Centennial at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Ida B. Wells and Century will round out the year against one another at at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Century's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matches.
