Lake Brantley entered their tilt with Lyman on Friday with nine consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with ten. They put the hurt on the Greyhounds with a sharp 15-0 win. Considering the Patriots have won eight contests by more than nine runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Lauren Compton made a splash while hitting and pitching. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over four innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up a single earned run in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in February of 2025.

In other batting news, Lake Brantley got a massive performance out of Liv Quintana, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one double. Caitlyn Campo also deserves some recognition as she got her first hits of the season.

Lake Brantley kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in four consecutive matchups.

Lake Brantley's record is now 17-2. As for Lyman, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake Brantley will face off against Lake Minneola at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Patriots' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hawks have averaged an impressive 8.4 runs per game this season. As for Lyman, they will take on Lake Mary at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
