Trinity Christian Academy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They put the hurt on the Riverbend Academy Warriors with a sharp 3-0 win. The Eagles were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Warriors, so the Eagles were just returning the favor.
Trinity Christian Academy walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-8, 25-22.
Riverbend Academy dropped their record down to 0-1-1 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Looking ahead, Trinity Christian Academy is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will take on First Baptist Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Riverbend Academy, they will square off against Calvary Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on the 26th.
