Football Recap: Clarke Central Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Clarke Central played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 42-10 defeat at the hands of the Jefferson Dragons. The Gladiators have struggled against the Dragons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Kamron Lawrence threw for 60 yards and one TD. On the ground, Zyon Phillips rushed for 43 yards.

Clarke Central now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Jefferson, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Clarke Central will host North Oconee at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Jefferson, they will head out on the road to square off against Stephens County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
