Ellis is a perfect 8-0 against Skyline since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Railroaders will welcome the Thunderbirds at 4:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Ellis might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 4-1 to Russell, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Railroaders have struggled against the Broncos recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Meanwhile, Skyline was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 11-1 to Minneola.

Ellis' loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Skyline, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-12.

Skyline's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Ellis has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 8.8 hits per game. It's a different story for Skyline, though, as they've been averaging 9 hits. Given Ellis' sizable advantage in that area, the Thunderbirds will need to find a way to close that gap.
