Volleyball Recap: The Colony Takes a Loss

The Colony lost against Creekview back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cougars lost 3-0 to the Mustangs. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The Colony took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-16, 25-23.

Triniti Reagor paced The Colony's offense, picking up six kills. Reagor got some help from Teagan Hubbard and her 20 assists. Hubbard was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

The Colony's defeat dropped their record down to 8-21. As for Creekview, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 8-21.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. The Colony will face off against rival Lone Star at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Creekview is set to square off against their familiar foe Newman Smith at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
