Mechanicsburg strolled into their game on Monday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against the Fairbanks Panthers by a score of 7-3. This was payback for the Indians, who suffered a 5-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Conner Eyink spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on five hits and racked up 13 Ks.

On the hitting side, Crew Lafary was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Chris Ritchie, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Mechanicsburg's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Fairbanks, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Mechanicsburg will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Panthers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
