Mt. Vernon/Plankinton took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Bon Homme, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Titans narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Cavaliers 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Titans have posted since August 28th.

This is the second loss in a row for Mt. Vernon/Plankinton and nudges their season record down to 8-19. As for Bon Homme, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-15.

Mt. Vernon/Plankinton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Burke on the 25th. As for Bon Homme, they will square off against Avon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
