Malden Catholic dropped down to 3-2 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They were beaten by the Catholic Memorial Knights 47-14. The game marked the Lancers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

As for Catholic Memorial, their victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 13.2 points on average over those games.

Kise Flannery continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 102 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries, while also throwing for 102 yards and a pair of TDs. Christian Simmons was in the mix too, providing Catholic Memorial with two scores.
