Shepaug Valley came out on top against Coventry on Saturday thanks in part to Peyton Thomas's efforts. Thomas wasn't messing around, pitching 6.2 innings while giving up four earned runs off seven hits. The pitching appearance was his fourth straight with two or fewer walks.
