Soccer Recap: Greene County Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Greene County duked it out withBay on Thursday. The Greene County Wildcats might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Bay Tigers an easy 7-0 win. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 5-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

Greene County has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Bay, the victory got them back to even at 5-5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Greene County will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while.
