Soccer Recap: Tyrone Comes Up Short

Tyrone's game on Monday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Bald Eagle Area Eagles by a score of 2-1. Tyrone have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Tyrone's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Bald Eagle Area, the victory snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 6-4-1 record.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Tyrone is set to square off against their familiar foe Bellefonte at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Bald Eagle Area will challenge rival Philipsburg-Osceola at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
