Sherwood is 6-0 against Wootton since February of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Sherwood Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wootton Patriots at 7:15 p.m. Sherwood is coming into the match hot, having won their last eight games.

Last Friday, Sherwood strolled past Gaithersburg with points to spare, taking the game 53-37.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Wootton, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 50-39 win over Quince Orchard on Friday.

Sherwood better keep an eye on Maya Bellamy. She was instrumental in Wootton's win, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 14 rebounds. Bellamy has been hot recently, having posted eight or more boards the last four times she's played. Malia Bellamy was another key player, dropping a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds.

Wootton smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in eight consecutive contests.

Wootton's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-7. As for Sherwood, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Sherwood beat Wootton 55-48 when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Will Sherwood repeat their success, or does Wootton have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
