Soccer Game Preview: North vs. West

The North Stars will square off against the West Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

North managed to keep up with South until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Stars came up short against the Spartans, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, North can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1136th, while South are ranked 409th).

Meanwhile, West and East Bakersfield faced off in a cross-town battle on Thursday. The Vikings fell just short of the Blades by a score of 3-2.

North's loss dropped their record down to 2-12-1. As for West, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9-2.
