Basketball Recap: DMLK Comes Up Short

The DMLK Panthers lost 58-35 to the Denver West Cowboys on Tuesday. The game marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Denver West's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tiden Silver-Colbert led the charge by going 10 of 14 on his way to 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremiah Parker, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds.

DMLK now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Denver West, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. DMLK will welcome Kennedy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. DMLK is facing Kennedy at the right time seeing as Kennedy is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Denver West, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Lincoln at 7:30 p.m. Denver West knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight contests -- so hopefully Lincoln likes a good challenge.
