Soccer Game Preview: Eastern View vs. Albemarle

The Eastern View Cyclones will venture away from home to square off against the Albemarle Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Eastern View is looking to pick up the season's first win, something they couldn't quite do against Orange County on Thursday. Eastern View and Orange County finished up their matchup with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Albemarle didn't have quite enough to beat Freeman last Wednesday and fell 2-1. The loss put an end to Albemarle's undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Albemarle fell to 2-1-1. Eastern View's draw makes their record 0-1-1 this season.

Eastern View suffered a grim 7-0 defeat to Albemarle when the teams last played back in March of 2018. Can Eastern View avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
