Trinity came tearing into Saturday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 42.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Big Sandy Wildcats by a score of 51-41.

Trinity has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.3 points per game. As for Big Sandy, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.

Trinity and Cypress Christian will compete for holiday cheer at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Big Sandy, they will venture away from home to face off against Onalaska at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Onalaska knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully Big Sandy likes a good challenge.
