Gulf Coast HEAT had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30.3 points) and they went ahead and made it eight on Tuesday. They took down the Ruskin Christian Warriors 50-32. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Gulf Coast HEAT also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Gulf Coast HEAT found their leader in freshman Audriana Colten, who posted 18 points. Another player making a difference was Kenna Baker, who put up 13 points.

Gulf Coast HEAT pushed their record up to 15-5 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gulf Coast HEAT will head out to take on Lakeside Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Gulf Coast HEAT's defense has only allowed 27.4 points per game this season, so Lakeside Christian's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Ruskin Christian, they are headed away from home for the first time to challenge Families Instructing Students HomeSchool at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
