Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North White). They walked away with a 52-40 victory over the Faith Christian Eagles on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.
North White found their leader in sophomore Carter Applegate, who rushed for 176 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 45 yards and one TD.
North White was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 282 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Faith Christian only rushed for 122 rushing yards.
Special teams was a major factor in the game for North White, racking up 18 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Mason DeBoard, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
