Baseball Recap: Riverview's Win Ends 14-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Riverview was forced to take a big defeat against they on Friday, they got the better of them on Friday. They came out on top against the Chelsea Bulldogs by a score of 9-5. This was a revenge game for the Pirates: when they faced off against the Bulldogs on Friday, they had to take a 12-0 loss.

Carson Rice was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cameron Schoenberg, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.

Riverview's win ended a 14-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-16. As for Chelsea, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-5-1.
