Meanwhile, Warren Woods-Tower was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They fell 7-5 to New Haven.

The win got Lamphere back to even at 7-7-2. As for Warren Woods-Tower, their loss dropped their record down to 1-16.

Everything went Lamphere's way against Warren Woods-Tower in their previous meeting back in September, as Lamphere made off with an 8-0 victory.
