East Palestine had to settle for second on Monday, but Cale Moraski sure wasn't going down easily. Moraski made a splash, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. He was dominant the last time he took on David Anderson back in April, so they probably should've seen this coming. Moraski has been consistent for a while: he hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Moraski and East Palestine will take on Rittman in a tournament on Friday. Sadly, Moraski's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Bulldogs' four-game streak of wins on the road. With the streak broken, Moraski and the Bulldogs surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Friday's match.
