Volleyball Recap: Berkeley Comes Up Short

Berkeley lost against Carondelet back in August of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Yellowjackets took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars. The Yellowjackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their offense was headlined by Laurel Mcgatlin-Golier and Liliana Sanger, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Rubi Silva and her 13 assists.

Berkeley's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Carondelet, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Berkeley has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Northgate on the 6th. As for Carondelet, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against San Ramon Valley on the 6th.
