Baseball Recap: Bishop Blanchet Comes Up Short

Bishop Blanchet managed to slip by Ballard the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bears lost 6-0 to the Beavers on Wednesday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Bears haven't been shut out since back in March.

Bishop Blanchet has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season. As for Ballard, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bishop Blanchet will take on Seattle Prep at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Ballard, they will face off against Lincoln at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
