Volleyball Recap: Elkton/Lake Benton Takes a Loss

Elkton/Lake Benton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Chester Flyers, falling 3-0. The Elks were not able to make up for their defeat to the Flyers from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-16, 25-9.

Elkton/Lake Benton's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Chester, the win keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Elkton/Lake Benton will host DeSmet at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chester, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sioux Falls Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
