Volleyball Recap: Centennial's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Centennial came tearing into Friday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Heritage Coyotes by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Centennial had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-19, 25-7, 25-15.

Alexis Anderson paced Centennial's offense, picking up 17 kills. Anderson got some help from Madison Victoriano and her 40 assists. Victoriano also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Nadia Cobos, each putting up three.

Centennial's record now sits at 28-8. As for Heritage, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-16 record this season.

Centennial does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Heritage, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Independence on the 27th.
