Soccer Recap: Bridge City's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak at Home

Bridge City and Navasota squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Bridge City had to settle for second. They came up short against the Rattlers, falling 7-1. Bridge City were red-hot offensively heading into the matchup (they scored no less than four goals in the four games prior), but Navasota's defense proved too tough.

Bridge City's goal came courtesy of Hudson Campbell, who's now up to 16 this season.

Bridge City's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-5. As for Navasota, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-3-1 record this season.

Bridge City does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Navasota, they have already played their next matchup, a 1-0 defeat against Salado on the 28th.
