Basketball Recap: Centralia Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Centralia challenged Toppenish on Thursday. The Centralia Tigers took a hard 54-39 fall against the Toppenish Wildcats.

Toppenish was led to victory by Anthony Cisneros and Jason Sanchez. Cisneros posted 14 points, while Sanchez put up 15 points. Jack Davila was another key player, putting up eight points.

Centralia's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Toppenish, they moved to 4-3 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Centralia didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 48-35 loss against Newport - Bellevue on the 27th. Toppenish has also already played their next game, a 70-42 defeat against Silas on the 27th.
